Does Gemini name your business?

We ask Gemini questions your customers could ask and count the answers that name you. Free and paid scan. Google says Gemini Apps show sources only sometimes.

How we measure Gemini

We send each question and your country to Gemini through a data provider, and collect the answer as it appears in the Gemini interface. In our test, the backup route reported a lighter Gemini model, so a scan may measure a lighter model than a paying Gemini user sees.

Does Gemini show sources?

Sometimes, according to Google, which says Gemini Apps sometimes show sources in and below a response. All 12 Gemini answers in our test of 4 November 2026 listed sources, from 16 to 30 per answer. That test is small, so a Gemini answer in your scan may list none.

What can go wrong with Gemini

Gemini can get facts wrong, and a named answer can still be wrong about your business. Google says Gemini Apps may sometimes produce inaccurate information. Our count only checks whether your name is in the text, so read the answers behind it.

If Gemini gives no answer, we retry and use a backup route. Failed answers stay out of the count, and a system with too few answers is labelled Not measured.

Which scan includes Gemini

Gemini is in both the free scan and the paid scan. The free scan asks each question once, and the paid scan asks each question five times.

How to read the result

You see a count: named in X of Y answers. Each cell opens the full answer from Gemini, with your name marked and any sources that came with it.
